Anil Birajdar is a dynamic individual with a 15 plus years of  global experience in Cross Boarder Structuring, Fund Set up & Estate Planning. He has travelled across Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America during his career, and has strategized and implemented several client centric structures across the globe. He acts as a board member of several Multinational Companies.
Anil has many layers of experience in a wide range of international structuring across various jurisdictions; and has led teams comprising different nationalities in various projects. He feels at home in diverse cultural settings and also infuses his team members with a vibrant and cohesive work culture.
Few of the recent successful deal closures are Setting up a fund in Cayman Islands which Invested 100 Million USD in South Korea, Set up a New Zealand Foreign Grantor Trust for HNI family based out of Africa,  Registered 3 FPI (Foreign Portfolio Investments) to trade on the listed securities in India.

Having worked in over 4 different Continents , by performing varied roles - MLRO, Senior Relationship Manager, Business Development Manager - MENA Region, Head of Compliance - Offshore Banking, such roles gave an opportunity to meet people from  diverse background & different nationalities, different industries with unique talent and skill sets which enhanced the my skills relevant to my current position with BAPL.
Possessing a master’s degree in Company Laws from one of the top university of India (Bangalore University), my interest was always in learning  corporate laws of different Jurisdictions which prompted me to work in different geographies for a period of close to 8 plus years. This exposure provided for further acquired knowledge in my chosen domain which in turn proved beneficial to cater and help my clients with a broad base and structured approach.
Proud to say, I have set up 450 plus companies in 35 plus jurisdictions in last 15 years. Set up tax efficient structures, Fund Set ups & Estate planning (Trust and Foundations). Serving world class corporates as a Single point of contact for their international structuring requirements.  Keeping my self-updated about DTA (Double taxations treaties, GDPR, BEPS, FACTA, GATCA Transfer Pricing and developed keen interest in Economic Substance Compliance.
Recent achievements are assisted USA based media company to set up their business in China (Shanghai), Bangalore based Geo technology company to set up their subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, assisted UAE based NRI family to set up a Charitable Trust in Delhi & Advised and assisted to set up Bangalore  based company to set up their 100% subsidiary in Malaysia. Malaysian company has raised 50Million USD from Bessemer Venture Partners.
